Some people simply don't care if they cross the line and overdo it - those people are usually the ones who desperately seek attention, even if it's in the wrong kind of way.
HBO's host of "Real Time With Bill Maher" has offended a number of people after attending a few Halloween events over the weekend, dressed up as the late wild life enthusiast, Steve Irwin.
Bill Maher showed up at Hollywood parties wearing a khaki shirt with a stingray barb pierced right through his chest. The humor of it all? Totally non-existent.
Many have considered the talk show host's decision utterly tasteless and disrespectful towards "The Crocodile Hunter" - who died in September - and the rest of his family.
According to StarPulse.com, several of Maher's fans are disgusted by his decision after seeing pictures of his "costume" on the internet and did not hesitant to leave their comments about the matter on the HBO star's website.
One fan wrote, "I suppose he thought it was funny, but it was seriously lacking taste, decorum and respect for Steve's family."
Another fan wrote, "I am kind of torn on it - I have a good sense of humor but this one is just kind of tacky."

Who could be as heartless as that? Obviously some one who is truly self obsessed and only cares about himself. What ever happened to think before you do? I personally loved Steve Irwin, and quite frankly this man should have had a straight jacket on instead of that idiotic costume. Steve Irwin loved his job, because of the animals he got to see, and for this Bill character, he is completly destroying Steve's character by doing this, and basically calling him stupid. He should stop doing commedy, and see a phsyciatrist. I hope he reads this and takes my advice!!

I have wanted to do the "dead crocodile hunter" for Halloween ever since his accident - I for one think its hysterical and Bill Maher is pretty cool for pulling it off. I kind of think Steve lacked respect for animals, so what better way to remember him than by emulating him, eh. As for the atheist comment, please crawl back under your rock, you sad little man. Only a childlike primordial society that behaves only because the threat of a heaven or hell (much like the belief in santa claus) really lacks a true moral conscience.
