Beyonce may be considered one of the sexiest stars in the world, but the singer has revealed that her sexy persona and onstage moves don't come easily to her.
While she flaunts her body in raunchy music video's and stage performances, the ex-"Destiny's Child" member says that she has created an alter ego named Sasha to bring out that side of her personality.
The "Bootylicious" singer reveals, "I developed my stage persona to protect myself so when I go home I don't think about what I do. Sasha isn't me. I wouldn't like her if I met her offstage. She's too aggressive, too strong, too sassy, too sexy. I'm not her in real life. I'm not flirtatious and super-confident."
The "Dreamgirls" star has also admitted to suffering from depression after her original band mates, LeToya Luckett and LaTivia Roberson, left the group.
The 25-year-old says she spent days locked in her bedroom refusing to eat.
She explains, "I was in a really bad place, going through that lonely period, 'Who am I? Who are my friends?' My life changed."
Now, with a Golden Globe nomination and Oscar buzz, Beyonce's luck has certainly changed.
