Beyonce's dad apparently has a problem with the offended Queen of Soul. Matthew Knowles, the R&B singer's father/manager, lashes out at Aretha Franklin for taking offense at his daughter's "Queen" remark during her performance with Tina Turner.
It started out when Beyonce introduced Tina Turner as the Queen on stage. Franlin, who is famously known as the Queen of Soul called Beyonce's comment as "a cheap shot for controversy" although she later said that she still "love Beyonce anyway."
Matthew didn't feel the love and responded through a statement released Wednesday: "Beyonce referred to Tina as a 'queen.' Not queen of gospel, queen of soul, queen of blues, Queen of England."
"I consider my wife a queen and sometimes call her that. Does Aretha have a problem with that?"
