Beyonce braved freezing temperatures to show off her curves and flash her armpits in a strapless dress at the London premiere of "Dreamgirls" on Sunday night.

The singer-and-actress dazzled on the red carpet in a shimmering, sequined gown created by top designer Elie Saab. However, Beyonce admitted she wasn't planning on wearing the revealing outfit all night as the temperature in London's Leicester Square plummeted towards zero.

She said, "I'm not wearing it for long, but it's worth the pain."

The former Destiny's Child singer also admitted she is hoping for Oscar success in the wake of the film's hat-trick of awards at the recent Golden Globes.

She added, "I can't wait to hear what's going to happen with the Oscars."

Beyonce was joined on the red carpet by her "Dreamgirls" co-star Jennifer Hudson - who scooped a Best Supporting Actress award at the Golden Globes - David Gest and Don Johnson, the former star of the "Miami Vice" TV series.

In the movie, which is based on the phenomenal rise to success of The Supremes, Beyonce plays Deena Jones, who was inspired by the girl group's lead singer, Diana Ross. Jamie Foxx, Eddie Murphy and Danny Glover also star in the movie.
