Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Jan Adams, who performed the surgery on hip-hop artist Kanye West's mother before she died, is seeking refuge from the spotlight by retreating to West Palm Beach, Florida. Adams relocated to the Palm Beaches in hopes of not being hounded by the paparazzi.
Adams performed a tummy-tuck and a breast reduction on Kanye's mother, Donda. The 58-year-old died hours after the operation. An autopsy could not determine the cause of death.
Adams has been a regular on "Oprah" and medical shows on the Discovery Channel.
Earlier this week The New York Post reported that Adams has taken up with Palm Beach socialite Ildiko Varga, owner of a former Worth Avenue store that sold crystal sculptures.
While Adams has been trying to stay away from the paparazzi, according to court records he did attract the attention of the Palm Beach police when he was given a ticket for driving a brand new Lexus 50 mph in a 35 mph zone.
