Hollywood's newest resident and star soccer player, David Beckham, is following his wife's footsteps into the world of reality television. The newly-signed LA Galaxy star will have his own reality show on the Fox Soccer Channel called 'David Beckham's Soccer USA,' produced by 'American Idol' producer Simon Fuller.
British television star Natalie Pinkham will host the show, which will feature in-game action and behind-the-scenes footage, documenting Beckam's first season with the L.A. Galaxy.
"David Beckham's arrival is a tremendous milestone in U.S. soccer history," said FOX rep David Sternberg., according to People. "[The series] will provide an insider's look at his performance with the Los Angeles Galaxy."
On Monday only 5 million viewers were interested enough to watch David's wife, Victoria Beckham, make her state-side debut with her NBC reality special, 'Victoria Beckham: Coming To America.' The show received less than desirable reviews and was considered a ratings flop for the former Spice Girl and aspiring fashion designer.
Meanwhile, Beckham's Galaxy debut for Saturday's game still remains in doubt as he is currently shaking off an ankle injury he sustained during a practice session. However, insiders say Beckham will make an appearance, whether it is on or off the field.
