Thankfully B.B. King is no longer singing the hospital blues. Just a few days after entering the facility everybody hates to be at, the musician has been given the permission to go home.
On Saturday, B.B. King was discharged from the hospital and "feeling fabulous" after receiving necessary antibiotics for 100.4 degree fever and flu, said his management team in New York. The blues legend was then sent home and is already planning to get the show back on the road.
Although a few concerts have been rescheduled for later this year, B.B. King is feeling "back to his old self" said his spokesperson and insists he is ready to perform in Fort Worth as planned on Tuesday night.
King, who is best known for his hits "You Know I Love You," "Woke Up This Morning," and "Please Love Me," was presented the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Bush late last year.
