Star Jones may be talking bad about her former "The View" boss Barbara Walters, but Walters is taking the high road and remaining kind. Jones is upset with Walters for talking about her in Walter's new memoir called "Audition."

Walters told AP radio Friday that Jones is "going through a difficult time right now" and she doesn't want to "add to her difficulties." Jones is currently going through a divorce.

Talk show host Star Jones left "The View" almost two years ago on rocky terms with boss Barbara Walters, and despite the length of time things are still rocky. Jones is now criticizing Walters for writing about her in Walter's new memoir "Audition."

In the book Walters discusses how Jones would not acknowledge on the air that she had gastric bypass surgery. Jones had the surgery in 2003.

Britney Spears has been told she can speak to her children on the telephone. The 'Toxic' singer - who hasn't seen her two sons Sean Preston, two, and 16-month-old Jayden James for more than three weeks after she refused to return them to ex-husband Kevin Federline - is forbidden from visiting her children indefinitely, meaning her only access to them is via phone calls.

Court documents released yesterday revealed: "Spears is to have telephonic contact with the minor children. All prior orders remain in full force and effect."
