Everybody is entitled to have a little fun every now and then, and that includes Danny DeVito.

Despite making a recent drunken appearance on "The View," Barbara Walters says Danny is always welcome back on the hit show to sit down and chat with the popular "Hot Topic" ladies.

The 62-year-old was promoting his new movie "Deck The Halls" on the show when he told the audience that he had a bit too much to drink the night before. He admitted to taking some shots with George Clooney. And having the chance to party with a handsome man like George, who else wouldn't?

During his interview, laid-back Rosie O' Donnell was having a good time listening about Danny's fun night.

According to Hollywood.com, she later said, "Danny DeVito is not an alcoholic. He's just a guy who had too many drinks with his friends. He had a wonderful night out, and he was a little drunk."

However, Barbara was not the least bit pleased and - as always - kept a stern and serious look on her face.

Danny didn't want things to get sour between him and the journalist, so he called her after the show to apologize and left her a message.

Barbara explained, "I called him back on his cell phone and he had already left on a plane, but he said he was not going to say anything until he had talked to me."

Barbara said there were no hard feelings between the two after they spoke.

She said on Thursday's show, "We love him, we'll have him on again."
