Avril Lavigne says her new tour will be the most "bright and colorful" yet. The 'Sk8er Boi' singer has revealed the 'Best Damn Tour' - which begins in Victoria, Canada, on March 5 - will feature spectacular dances, giant TVscreens and a "pink-sparkled drum kit."

She said, "The show is going to be very upbeat and the production will bebigger in the sense of dancers during a couple of songs, giant TV screens, apink-sparkled drum kit and flags.

Avril Lavigne slams reports that she is cheap. The pop punk singer denies she is paying her dancers below industry standards.

An email was leaked to the press saying that her back-up dancers feel they are receiving less than what the industry rates call for.

Avril Lavigne is to release her own range of perfume, shampoo and bath soaps. The 'Girlfriend' rocker filed an application with the US Patent and Trademark Office last December, the first step to launching her own cosmetic range.

Avril applied for a patent for: "Fragrances and perfumery, aftershave, pre-shave, bath oil, bath soap, shower gel, body shampoo, deodorant for personal use, tissues impregnated with cosmetic lotions, bath crystals, bath milks, dusting powder, body lotion, body splash, body cream, hand lotion and talc."
