"Mini Me" Verne Troyer has been rushed to the hospital Wednesday for "flu-like symptoms."
The actor best known as the miniature clone sidekick in "Austin Powers" was taken to the hospital while filming "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus" in Burnaby, British Columbia.
A source close to the 39-year-old actor tells Usmagazine.com, "He's been working really hard on the film. They just wanted to hydrate him."
A rep for the pint-size Troyer denies the incident was drug-related saying, "Verne is fine and doing well and is back to work.
Troyer is notable for being just over 2 feet tall. Aside from his memorable role in Austin Powers movies, he had also appeared in several big blockbusters like "Men In Black" in 1997 and "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" in 2001.
