Britain's Prince Harry is a fan of Kerry Katona. The 24-year-old royal reportedly told friends he had a great time when he met the former Atomic Kitten singer - who is now more famous for her turbulent marriage to Mark Croft and mental health issues - at a Prince's Trust concert few years ago.

One of Harry's pals told Britain's New magazine: "He met her at Party In The Park and thought she was great fun and had a wonderful spirit."

Kerry Katona has admitted she is an alcoholic. The former Atomic Kitten singer - who appeared drunk when she slurred her way through a recent interview on U.K. TV show "This Morning" - confessed she was diagnosed with the condition four years ago.

She said: "I was diagnosed as an alcoholic after a stay in The Priory clinic. This is not common knowledge as I've never admitted it before."

Former Atomic Kitten singer Kerry Katona has been declared bankrupt at the High Court on Thursday after failing to pay the final $154,000 of a $783,000 tax bill.

The 27-year-old singer was given two weeks to complete the payment by a bankruptcy registrar in London.

A new pop sensation is set to be performing at this year's Royal Variety Performance in London. Britain's Prince Charles will be in attendance and will be entertained by the Scissor Sisters at the much anticipated event. The New York pop act - who are currently number one in both the UK singles and album charts - are in talks to perform for the prince and his wife Camilla at the celebrated live show.

An insider for the concert told Britain's The Sun newspaper, "Scissor Sisters have been in talks with us for a while about performing. We think they are just what the event needs to be lively and entertaining. The band's very keen, it's just a matter of seeing if they a can fit it in."
