They say misery loves company but Ashley Judd wanted to get rid of it as soon as possible.
After beating depression earlier this year, while also seeking the help of others, Ashley has found a new ray of hope in her life but admits it wasn't easy at first.
The actress checked into a 47-day program in Texas back in February, so she could try to get her life back on track. She was also being treated for an eating disorder at the time.
Thankfully she was able to fully recover and live a normal life again. However, the brunette star says she couldn't have done it without the support of her loving husband, Dario Franchitti, who helped her every step of the way.
According to StarPulse.com, she said, "He is so supportive in just the right way. Pitch-perfect."
Ashley also believes she has what it takes to truly take care of herself and get better now. There are no more dark demons to hide from.
She added, "I have so many more tools now. My self-care is really good."
