Ashlee has finally revealed what the diamond band on her left-hand ring finger means - it is a promise ring from boyfriend Pete Wentz of the Fall Out Boys.
Ashlee confirmed this when she stopped by Fuse TV to promote her upcoming album "Bittersweet World." She has been dating Wentz for less than one year.
The 23-year-old singer said the ring means her boyfriend hasn't asked her dad yet. Dad would be Joe Simpson, who supposedly frowned on older sis Jessica's nuptials to singer Nick Lachey. Their marriage didn't last.
Ashlee recently premiered a song from her new album, "Little Miss Obsessive," on a Chicago morning radio show.
