It's unfortunate when male celebrities need to stoop low and make up lies in order to make themselves look like the best playa in town. But it looks like everybody is laughing at Nick Carter, including Ashlee Simpson - who he wishes could have been added to his list of blonde starlets he fondled. The pop singer says Nick claims that he slept with her are "laughable." No kidding, Ashlee.
The singer-and-actress - who is currently appearing in "Chicago" in London - insists the Backstreet Boys singer, who this week claimed he had slept with Ashlee to get back at his ex Paris Hilton, is lying.
When asked about the claims, she scoffed, "No, it's not true. That is so random. When I heard that, I was dying laughing."
Nick claimed he was determined to sleep with Ashlee after discovering Paris had cheated on him with "One Tree Hill" star Chad Michael Murray.
He said, "I'd fallen head over heels with this chick. Then, all of a sudden, three months go by and I got people telling me, 'Nick, you know what Paris is doing to you,' and I got a little upset. So then I just decided to fight back a little bit and started doing my own thing again. The result is I hooked up with Ashlee Simpson. When Paris came back from Australia, they talked to each other and she found out about it."
He added, "I had started to really like Ashlee and I was thinking about the dating stage. Before you know it f***ing b***h-face comes back."
