Sir Anthony Hopkins has vowed never to have plastic surgery.
"The Silence of the Lambs" actor, who will turn 70 on New Year's Eve, insists he will never resort to going under the knife to turn back the clock.
He is quoted as saying, "Well, what are you going to do? You see all these other actors having their faces done and you think, 'Why? Don't do that stuff, you look ridiculous!' It changes the structure of their faces. I knew a wonderful actor, who shall remain nameless, and when I met him just before he died he looked like he had turned into someone else - I didn't even know who he was. Leave it alone, for Heaven's sake. Just get old!"
Anthony isn't the only actor to say no to plastic surgery. "James Bond" star Daniel Craig also vowed never to change his natural looks because he doesn't want to end up looking like a "lesbian".
He said, "You've got to get on with it. If things start to come out, or things start to drop - it's tricky, it really is, because no-one likes to get old and sag. Sometimes people can improve themselves when they are younger, but when you're 60 or 70, you start looking like a freak. You end up looking like a lesbian big sister and that's not right!"
