Anne Heche is not as crazy as was initially reported.

Many media sources reported that the TV actress had lost custody of her son, Homer, because of her often "delusional" behavior. However, TMZ, who broke the story initially, has retracted and corrected that the star has joint custody with her estranged husband, Coley Laffoon.

The end result of the custody battle is that Anne and Coley, who married after the star split with Ellen DeGeneres and revealed that she suffers from mental illness, will share the parental responsibilities of Homer.

However, as the judge has ruled that the five-year-old cannot leave Los Angeles, he will live with his father full time while Anne films in Canada. She will, however, have every other weekend visitation rights.

Once Anne is back residing in Los Angeles, joint custody will resume.

Coley was awarded spousal support for his time as a soul parent.
