Anne Hathaway is planning to quit Hollywood - to become a carpenter.
The 23-year-old actress, who stars opposite Meryl Streep in "The Devil Wears Prada", says she would rather be sawing wood than walking down the red carpet.
She said: "My goal for the next ten years is to get into carpentry, because I really want to learn how to make my own furniture. I'm a pretty boring person. My passion is interior decorating."
Hathaway got her big break starring opposite Julie Andrews in "The Princess Diaries" and then appeared in the Oscar-winning gay cowboy drama "Brokeback Mountain."
In her latest film, the actress plays the dowdy assistant to a nasty fashion magazine editor who gets a lucky break.
However, despite her success, Hathaway admits she has never been comfortable in front of the camera.
She is quoted by America's CNN website as saying: "I don't feel comfortable doing movies. It's not what I trained to do. I trained to be a theater actress. It's a lot harder I think than people realize."
