He has thrown telephones at desk clerks, started brawls at award ceremonies and has been known to throw a punch or two while at the bar, but now Russell Crowe is taking his anger out on flight attendants.
The Oscar winning actor reportedly "flew" into a rage when he awoke on a flight to find that his wife had eaten his preferred meal of chicken satay.
Rather than focus his anger at the mother of his children, Danielle Spencer, Crowe lashed out at the air hostess.
According to the New York Daily News newspaper, the "Gladiator" star yelled, "If I tell you I want something, you put it aside for me. Or wake me up. Is there some kind of language barrier here?"
The anonymous flight attendant added, "I've flown actors, singers, boxers, princes. He treated us like peons (servants)."
Crowe, a father of two, has been told to keep his temper in check after he throw a hotel phone at a desk clerk while in New York. Although charges were dropped, the star risked losing his U.S. work visa.
The actor's lawyer denies the story.
