Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have enrolled son Maddox in an $18,000-a-year New York private school.
The couple's eldest son, who Angelina adopted from Cambodia, began classes at the Lycee Francais de New York on the Upper East Side on Tuesday.
Angelina and Brad both accompanied Maddox, six, to the Manhattan campus - where lessons are all taught in French and based on France's curriculum - for his first day.
A source said: "They were just like normal parents."
Brad had a special treat for Maddox after he finished his first day - he took him to see the New York Yankees' baseball game later that evening.
The 'Mr. and Mrs. Smith' stars and their children - Maddox, two-year-old adopted Ethiopian daughter Zahara, three-year-old adopted Vietnamese son Pax and 15-month-old biological daughter Shiloh - are all currently residing at Angelina's Upper West Side condo.
