Mel Gibson took anger management classes after his infamous rant at a police officer. However, his temper is still present, especially when his latest film is attacked.
Speaking at a screening of "Apocalypto", Gibson was not impressed when a professor questioned his film, based on the ancient civilization of the Mayans.
Gibson allegedly swore at Alicia Estrada, an assistant professor of Central American studies during a question and answer segment at the California State University.
After the verbal scuffle, Estrada was escorted out of the building.
Now, Estrada is calling for the Oscar winning director to make a formal apology. And he is refusing.
She said, "In no way was my question aggressive in the way that he responded to it. These are questions that my peers, my colleagues, ask me every time I make a presentation. These are questions I pose to my students in the classroom. I demand an apology not only to myself but to the Mayan community specifically and to this university."
Gibson's spokesperson, however, is siding with the controversial star. He said, "Why would he apologize? The event organizers threw the heckler out, not Mel."
Gibson obviously isn't going to apologize for swearing either.
