| Brad Pitt was drunk when he agreed to star in his new movie. The star, whose movie 'Inglourious Basterds' debuted at the Cannes Film Festival last night, accepted the part after a raucous night out with director Quentin Tarantino. He laughed: "We went out together... I got up the next morning and saw, like, five empty bottles on the floor and some sort of smoking device on the floor. Then, somehow, six weeks later I was doing the film." | |
| The residents of Oyster Bay are making their new neighbor feel right at home. It probably helps that the new neighbor just so happens to be Angelina Jolie. Jolie is filming her new thriller, "Salt," and has taken up residence in the Long Island town which has been buzzing with word of sightings of the superstar mother with Brad Pitt and their children. | |
| While Angelina Jolie is off playing a rogue CIA operative while filming her new thriller, "Salt," Brad Pitt is just playing dad. The Buffalo News', James P. McCoy, spotted Pit with family in tow at the "Maid of the Mist" tour of Niagara Falls. The "Curious Case of Benjamin Button" star was seen with sons Pax and Maddox, as well as parents Bull and Jane, and his bodyguards. The entire group was clad in blue "Maid of the Mist" ponchos, given to each passenger of the attraction. | |
| Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have stopped their former bodyguard releasing a tell-all book. The couple - who have been dating for four years and raise six children together - hired top U.S. and U.K. lawyers to prevent Mickey Brett revealing details of their private lives in a novel and TV show. The book proposal would have been based around Brett's first-person account of his years protecting a number of Hollywood stars, including Sandra Bullock, Tom Cruise, Nicole Kidman, Sylvester Stallone and Richard Gere, according to the New York Daily News newspaper. | |
| Mariah Carey is suffering from insomnia. The singer is struggling to get to sleep at night and has taken to watching her husband Nick Cannon doze peacefully while she is wide awake. She wrote on her Twitter page: "I just finished working out. Whooo! Quite naturally, 'its 5am and I still can't sleep'(sung like 'crybaby' from 'Rainbow' 99)lol Who's up?" | |
| Amy Winehouse wants to adopt a child. The "Rehab" singer is said to be desperate to give a child from St. Lucia a home, and has vowed to settle on the Caribbean island if it will improve her chances of success. A source said: "Amy is seriously thinking about adopting. But she is aware it's going to be incredibly difficult with her background. She has always wanted to be a mother. She loves St. Lucia and would move there for good in order to adopt." | |
