Angelina Jolie would be "interested" in starring in a French movie. The 33-year-old actress - whose late mother Marcheline Bertrand was of French-Canadian descent - has been learning the complicated language for the past two years, and is keen to display her skills on the big screen.

When asked if she would consider starring in a European movie, Angelina said: "No one has asked me yet. It would really interest me - there are more and more great films coming out of Europe and other cultures."

"When I can really speak the language, maybe I'll try out for a French film in a few years."

Despite being an actress, Angelina - who recently welcomed twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline with partner Brad Pitt into the world hates watching movies.

She added to German magazine Focus: "I find it difficult to sit still for two hours. I would rather read something or learn something or travel to experience something new."
