Angelina Jolie gets her motivation and inspiration from the same person many others do - the late Princess Diana.

The actress and humanitarian has revealed that the Princess of Wales inspired her to investigate causes to support and people to help around the world.

Angelina said, "Princess Diana inspired me immensely. I followed the work she undertook very closely, especially the issue of landmines. It was fascinating that she chose that cause. No matter what I do, I always want to go to refugee camps and meet with the most unfortunate. I have found it a privilege- a way of making me feel alive."

The Oscar winner is a U.N. Ambassador and has spent much of her time in warn torn countries, bringing aid and awareness to those in need. The star has also adopted three orphan children from Ethiopia, Cambodia and Vietnam.

This year is the tenth anniversary of Princess Diana's death.
