They may no longer be together, but that doesn't mean they can't join forces for an important cause.
Andy Roddick was in Florida over the weekend to host the first annual Charity Celebrity Poker Tournament. The event took place at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood where the tennis player was greeted by his ex, Mandy Moore, who showed up to lend a helping hand.
Newly brunette Mandy was quite a good sport when she offered to assist her ex in raising funds for the Andy Roddick Foundation and several other charities for abused and at-risk children. And Andy agrees.
Although the tennis star says the two are just friends now, he's still grateful for her support and her willingness to help those in need. He admits her attendance at the charity event says a lot about her strength of character.
He told PEOPLE magazine, "We're cool. We're doing fine now. She's a good girl, and it says a lot about her to come out tonight."
The couple dated for a year before splitting in 2004.
