Amy Winehouse's husband has found an unlikely pen pal in prison. Blake Fielder-Civil has been reportedly been exchanging letters with musician Pete Doherty to ask for advice.
Fielder-Civil, 25, is in prison on charges of assault and perversion of justice. The Babyshambles lead, Doherty, apparently gives him tips on how to spend the holidays in jail and updates on what's happening on the outside.
Doherty also promises to look after Fielder-Civil's wife. A source says that Fielder-Civil is worried that Amy's friends would try to split the couple.
"Blake feels very vulnerable. As well as threats he faces in jail, he fears Amy's friends will use his time in prison to come between them and try to split them up," the source was quoted by The Sun.
"He has asked Pete to look after Amy and fight his corner to make sure he doesn't get shut out. Pete has a soft spot for Blake, who has always idolized him, and has promised to do his best."
