Amy Winehouse has gotten a wakeup call from Corinne Bailey Rae's dead husband. The Grammy Award-winning singer had been shocked after her pal Jason Rae, Corinne's other half, was found dead from a suspected drug overdose on Saturday.
Saxophonist Jason had once been a backing musician for Amy. His death has alarmed the "Rehab" singer into seeking help for her own drug demons.
A source says, "Amy sacked Jason because he was so out of it and now it's her own life that has spun out of control."
"The scenario is no different. Amy takes the same substance with which Jason plied himself. She says she can't believe this happened and that she is still alive - and she can't let this be her future."
The insider continues, "She sees it as a wakeup call that she must stop."
Amy had her stint in the rehab earlier this year. Reports surfaced that she intends to go back in for another dose of professional help after her public relapse. This was denied by her rep.
