Amy Winehouse has chosen her career over having a baby. The 'Rehab' singer has put off starting a family with husband Blake Fielder-Civil to concentrate on her new album, due for release early next year.

She said: "I'm writing some new stuff and can't wait to be back on tour. I would like to have children one day but I'm concentrating on work just now."

Amy hopes her new collection of songs will match the success of her second album 'Back to Black', which has sold more than four million copies worldwide.

Amy and Blake recently returned from a "honeymoon" in St. Lucia, and the singer admits it was dream holiday.

Amy - who tied the knot with Blake in a secret Miami ceremony in May - said: "It was a honeymoon and I am so happy. I am ecstatic. We don't need anyone else. We are so much in love."

Amy claims she has now completely recovered following a turbulent few weeks which saw her overdose on a cocktail of drugs and check in and out of rehab.

She told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "I'm sorted. Nothing's wrong with me. I didn't enjoy rehab and I don't want to go back. I missed my friends and my parents."

"There's nothing wrong with me. In fact, I feel better than I've ever felt before."
