American Idol second place winner, Katherine McPhee, is currently on tour this summer with the rest of her AI gang. The singer recently revealed to People magazine that she struggled with bulimia for several years. However, she says she isn't counting her calories this summer.
In June, McPhee confessed to People magazine that she suffered from bulimia for five years. But she says she's no longer paranoid about her weight anymore.
In an interview with Us Weekly, the star says, "My diet? Because I'm on tour, it's not very healthy. But I'm not controlling (about) my weight anymore, I don't do any weird, disordered eating things anymore, thank God."
A couple of months ago the 22-year old revealed she sought help for her bulimia. After auditioning for American Idol, she enrolled in an eating-disorder clinic in Los Angeles where she was given treatment and received three months therapy.
She admits she's not working with a food coach anymore, but she does have people who look out for her and constantly make sure she's doing okay.
"I'm not working with a food coach anymore, but I do have people with whom I check in," says the star.
