Kate Hudson wants to have a baby with Alex Rodriguez. The "Bride Wars" actress - who has been dating the New York Yankees baseball star since May - is reportedly desperate to fall pregnant with the 34-year-old sportsman's child and raise his "beautiful baby."

A source said: "Kate just turned 30 and she's ready to have her second child. She wants Ryder to have a sibling, so she brought up the idea to Alex and told him that they would make a beautiful baby together, and that she would assume all financial responsibility."

Kate Hudson has infuriated boyfriend Alex Rodriguez after her friend crashed his car. The 30-year-old actress - who began dating the New York Yankees baseball star in May - let her pal drive his Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) in Manhattan, New York, but the woman accidentally dented the back of the expensive vehicle.

A source said: "Kate Hudson's girlfriend has been driving his Suburban with Kate every morning, bright and early, to get coffee. As the two women were pulling out of the garage, they hit another car! Hudson and the pal quickly re-parked and headed back upstairs."

Lenny Kravitz helped Madonna adopt Mercy. The "Are You Gonna Go My Way" rocker let the 50-year-old singer stay in his luxurious French mansion when her adoption of the four-year-old Malawian child became too stressful and she needed to escape from the public eye.

He said: "It has been tough for Madonna. But she's doing good. She's been staying in my place in France while it was going on. I'm glad it's worked out."

Madonna is reportedly dating a Brazilian model to make Alex Rodriguez jealous. The 50-year-old singer, who has been romantically linked to Alex and Jesus Luz since her split from husband Guy Ritchie, is keen to show Alex - nickname "A-Rod" - what he is missing by not fully committing to her.

A source told the New York Daily News newspaper: "Madonna likes to be in control, and she hasn't been able to completely control Alex yet."

Madonna and Guy Ritchie have spent the weekend together in New York. Guy met his ex-wife Madonna at the New York Kabbalah center just a few days after the singer won custody of their children.

An onlooker said: "Guy was smiling and in good spirits. He still spends time with Madonna as a family."
