Pierce Brosnan is to be the new voice of Thomas the Tank Engine. The 54-year-old actor - who played suave spy James Bond for seven years - will narrate the popular children's TV series 'Thomas and Friends', based on Reverend W.V. Awdry's books about a busy railway station on the Island of Sodor. Pierce is the latest in a long-line of distinguished talents, including former Beatle Ringo Starr, Alec Baldwin and Michael Brandon, to take on the role since the TV series first aired in 1984.

Rosario Dawson will only date 'green' men. The 'Sin City' star says she finds men who are not environmentally friendly a real turn-off. When asked if she'd date someone who did not live a green existence, she said: "I'd probably have a really huge problem with that. I am that person who turns lights off every time I walk out of a room."

Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger have reached a stalemate in their bitter custody battle. The pair arrived at court on Friday for a hearing to determine who leaked a voicemail of Baldwin berating their 11-year-old daughter Ireland. The matter is yet to be resolved after Basinger's lawyers insisted they were not responsible. Baldwin, 49, left the courtroom twice during the four-hour hearing, and was reportedly overheard muttering "This is a waste of my f***ing time." Basinger, 53, and Baldwin have been locked in a lengthy custody feud since their divorce in 2002.

When Dr. Phil isn't on your side, you know you have made a big mistake. More people are coming out and publicly defaming Alec Baldwin after his infamous answering machine message to his 11-year-old daughter. The Hollywood star called Ireland, his child with ex-wife Kim Basinger, a "rude little pig" when he failed to reach her by phone.

Instead of handling a delicate matter privately, Alec Baldwin was adamant about letting everybody in the world know why he recently called his daughter a "pig," in a poor attempt to justify himself and gain sympathy for his demeaning words. Alec made a special guest appearance on Friday's episode of "The View" to set the record straight about why he said he would set his daughter's "a** straight."
