| Nicole Richie, Lindsay Lohan and John Mayer were among mourners at a memorial service for DJ AM Thursday. The stars - along with Lindsay's girlfriend Samantha Ronson, socialite Nicky Hilton and actor Eric Dane - gathered with family and fans at the Hollywood Palladium to pay their respects to the musician, real name Adam Goldstein, following his death last week. An onlooker said: "The crowd was very hip and eclectic, there were people dressed in smart black suits and people dressed in jeans and T-shirts. | DJ AM, also known as Adam Goldstein, has died at the age of 36. He was found in dead in a Manhattan apartment on late Friday afternoon. At this time it is unclear what his cause of dead was, but TMZ is reporting that a prescription bottle of pills was found near his body. His death comes as a shock to many, especially after Goldstein survived a plane crash last September after a Learjet he was traveling on caught fire after the plane aborted takeoff in South Caroline.
