Thank goodness for e-mail. "Access Hollywood" host Nancy O'Dell has been e-mailing actress Halle Berry on the finer tips of motherhood since Berry is a new mother. Berry gave birth to daughter Nahla Ariela Aubry last month.
O'Dell and Berry are friends, and O'Dell said she wanted to e-mail Berry all the things no one told her when she became a mother. O'Dell gave birth to her daughter Ashby Grace last June.
O'Dell told People.com at the Thursday premiere of "National Lampoon's One, Two, Many" in Hollywood that she believes Berry is going to be a great mom. She also said she e-mailed her a whole page of advice on the subject and Berry e-mailed back and was very appreciative.
O'Dell said the two little girls will have fun in the future at play dates, but she joked that it would have been nice if Berry would have had a boy.
O'Dell said, "I'm glad she had a girl, so the girls can play, but the other side of me went, I bet that would be a very attractive young boy to set up with my girl. I was pulling for either one."
