Actress Cameron Diaz's father, Emilio Diaz, has died at the age of 58. The actress's father died Tuesday morning after suffering from the flu which turned into pneumonia.

It was first reported by TMZ.com that Emilio had died. He had a small part in his daughter's 1998 hit comedy "There's Something About Mary."

Cameron, 35, also has a sister, Chimene, 37. The Los Angeles Times reported on Tuesday that filming on Diaz's current film "My Sister's Keeper" has been halted.
