Actors Mohr and Cox Announce Engagement

Actors Jay Mohr and Nikki Cox are engaged. Cox's publicist, Alisha Mahon, made the announcement Friday and said the couple is making plans to marry early next year.

Mohr is a comedian, who got his start on ''Saturday Night Live'' from 1993-1995. He has also appeared in a number of hit movies, including: "Jerry Maguire,'' "Mafia!" "Picture Perfect" and "King's Ransom."

Cox plays Mary Connell on the NBC series "Las Vegas." The two met on the set of the series when Mohr made a guest appearance. This is the second engagement for Cox. She was previously engaged to comedian Bob Goldthwait. Mohr is divorced from Nicole Chamberlain. They have one child.
