Former star of the hit TV series, "Everybody Loves Raymond," Brad Garrett announced he has been separated from his wife, Jill Diven, for months. But only recently has the actor made it public. According to Entertainment Tonight, the former couple made their divorce official on July 14th.

In a new interview with USA Today, Brad opens up about his marriage and recent separation. He says, "We will always be friends." He also describes Jill as "the greatest mom" and as "an extraordinary women." The couple has two kids, Max, 7, and Hope, 6.

Brad says his number one focus is his kids. He says, "We will never be single parents. We will always be two parents." But he also says that you can't stay together for the kids because "kids know everything."

Ironically, the actor is set to star in his new television sitcom "Til death" about marriage strife in the fall.
