Pop singer Aaron Carter landed in jail while driving through Texas Thursday.

Carter was pulled over for speeding in the city of Junction and was then arrested because the officers found marijuana in the car.

Carter, 20, younger brother of Nick Carter of the boy band Backstreet Boys, became a teen sensation six or seven years ago. At the time, he reportedly dated actresses Hilary Duff and Lindsay Lohan.

Carter was driving a Cadillac Escalade when pulled over and was alone in the car.
