Aaron Carter has been busted. The younger brother of Nick Carter was pulled over while driving in Kimble County for speeding and was arrested after authorities found over two ounces of marijuana.
The 20-year-old 'I Want Candy' singer was taken to jail and will stay there overnight. He is set to appear in court for his arraignment Friday.
Carter, whose overlapping relationship with Hilary Duff and Lindsay Lohan became tabloid frenzy, became a teen heart throb in the late 1990s.
He was first introduced as the younger brother of the youngest Backstreet Boy, but gained his own followers after.
In 2003, he filed for legal emancipation from his mother, who he claimed took more than $100,000 from his bank account without his permission. They have resolved their difference the next month and the lawsuit was withdrawn.
He had been engaged to former Playboy model Kari Ann Peniche but he broke it off a short time later saying he had been impulsive.
