Mother's Day had an entirely new meaning for Sheryl Crow this year. The single 45-year-old singer announced just one day before hand that she has adopted a two-week old baby boy.
The new mother, who underwent treatment for breast cancer in 2006, revealed the news of her new family on her official website.
She wrote, "I am so excited to share with you guys that I've adopted a little boy. He was born two weeks ago."
Sheryl continued to tell fans that the new baby's name, "is Wyatt (after my dad) Steven (after my little brother and Scooter) and we are enjoying some very private family time."
The "All I Wanna Do" singer is taking time off from her touring schedule to be a full-time mom to her new son.
Sheryl's last serious relationship was with cycling star Lance Armstrong. However, the couple called off their engagement at the same time as her breast cancer diagnosis became public.
