Singer Nick Lachey is asking for spousal support and pieces of jewelry from Jessica Simpson, according to court papers filed Friday in divorce proceedings between the couple.

In the papers, Lachey cited irreconcilable differences as a reason for the dissolution of the marriage between the two pop stars.

Former 98 Degrees pop star Nick Lachey is said to be completely over his simpleton soon-to-be ex Jessica Simpson. Rumor has it that he is now dating a former beauty queen, Elizabeth Ann Arnold, who was Miss Kentucky USA in 2002.

Elizabeth is now an actress that lives in California and appeared in the film, "Taking Charge," with Faye Dunaway. Nick's new girlfriend was born in California and moved to Kentucky when she was 11, then moved back to Cali to pursue acting. The two have been spotted all over together.

Rumor has it that former 98 Degrees singer and ex-hubby to Jessica Simpson, Nick Lachey recently filed a burglary report with the Miami Beach Police Department claiming he was watching football in a cabana at the Delano, took off his $30,000 Breitling watch, placed it in a gym bag, went swimming (it keeps getting worse), and returned an hour later to find the watch was gone.

Maybe Jessica's infamous 'intelligence' rubbed off on Nick. When the police department contacted Lachey for more information, he insisted that his assistant was supposed to call...turns out, he "found the watch in his luggage."
